The long-term storage of the blood of the umbilical cord is performed at about minus 200 °C in power-independent freezing tanks. At these extremely low temperatures, plastics become extremely brittle and there is a risk that they will break in the event of vibration. For this reason, we have developed our own bag in several years of research, which consists of a very cold-stable and anti-break material and thereby protects the blood of the umbilical cord safely. This material is, of course, far more expensive than normal plastic, but provides an extra level of safety.

 

We have even provided security against possible financial risks for you: the continued expert storage of the blood of the umbilical cord of your child is guaranteed for 50 years in any event – even if unforeseen circumstances arise. Generali Versicherung AG, Vienna oversees the securing of the continued storage of the blood preparations in the event of insolvency.
